"Hope you had a
FULLfilling week" ;)
Hello everyone!!!!
Sorry this will be short we have been decorating for Christmas all day
at the mission home!! 🤗😍🎉
This week was awesome!!! There's always ups and downs as a missionary
the key is just to keep having ups and learn how to laugh!!
Some highlights from the week were first thanksgiving was so fun!!
We were on shift in the morning and no one really came in but on
teaching center this lady called and said she wanted the missionaries
to bring her a Book of Mormon today and she wanted to be baptized!!
#thankful #blessings
Us and the elders went over to a members house the Ah Mu's and it was
so good! We made little light the world cards that are part of the new
initiative (go check it out!)
Then we all had food and we got to sit at the adult table and it was
really fun!
It's interesting having holidays with other families, it's just
different but it's fun! We were blessed to be with them!
After,We planned amidst our food coma the rest of the night but
overall it was a great day!
Also a highlight when my BFF from NC Makayla Knutson surprised me and
came with her family to the visitor center!! Haven't seen her so long
so it was so good! I love them :)
Last mentionable highlight of the week was Saturday night we had he
stake Christmas devotional and then the lighting ceremony at the
visitor center and so many people came and there was caroling and
people were watching the new Christmas initiative (SRSLY GO CHECK IT
OUT!!) and it was so fun!! It's starting to feel like Christmas!!!!
Anyways the last thing I want to mention is that I know God knows each
and every one of us. He knows us by name. He perfectly understands our
circumstances and knows when we have trials. And he is always with us.
Sometimes we get in the way of feeling that or recognizing that but
because our savior died for us and suffered for us, we are never truly
alone and we are blessed with the Holy Ghost, the Comforter that can
be with us always. That's what helps me in trials and when times get
tough. If you can know and understand that then nothing else matters.
I love you all so much! Everyone start the Christmas initiative and
serve everyday. I know as we serve and follow the example of Jesus
Christ we will come to know Him better and more personally. "For how
knoweth the the man the master whom he has not served?"
Love you.
